Snakebites

About 30 years ago medical sciënce was stunned when a snake-bite victim arrived at a hospital. There was little or no nowlegde about treatment of venomous snake-bites , except for SOME specialists. Lots of victims died...
Today in most parts of the world , medical sciënce upgraded their skills and less than 10% of the victims die.

Snake-bites accur allmost evenly ; while handling snakes and accidental.
Most countries have a anti-serum bank or spread the anti-serumstock to diffrent hospitals.
Victims should be transported to the nearest hospital to avoid time-loss.
The sooner treatment starts , the less permanent consequenses will occur.

Bite victims who lead a possitive lifestyle tend to heal faster !
Stay positive and do whatever the doctor tells you to do , exersise regular to avoid stiffness in muscelature , try to help medical personal by doing things yourselve , it will help you mentally .
Pain is relative , you can and will survive.
The pain will graduatly change and fade , making place for strong survivor-instincts.
Do not refuse help from others , you'll need it and it will teach you who your friends are.
When you are ready , handle snakes again or visit a zoo that keeps snakes ,
it will help you understand what happened.
